Ten Projectors to One PC: A Solution for Immersive Rooms with Seamless Blending

Why was this particular projector chosen?

To create an immersive space within four walls, we have many solutions to choose from, such as using large LCD or LED screens for video walls. However, the cost of such high-resolution screens is quite high, so in this confined dark space, using projectors to create a multi-projection immersive space is undoubtedly the better choice!

How to connect 10 projectors to one computer?

It is known that in most cases, a computer has only one video card, and a typical video card has a maximum of four outputs, which is obviously not enough to connect all projectors. To connect multiple projectors to one computer, you need to use our MSE series video processor. As a product in the video wall processor series, it can not only serve as a video processor but also, of course, is capable of handling the use of projectors for screen wall solutions. It is capable of expanding the video card's output channels by combining the image on the screen into a single whole.

In this solution, we use two devices to expand the video card's output channel.

First, two BIT-MSE-4K60-103PROs to connect 6 projectors, and then one BIT-MSE-4K60-104PRO to connect 4 projectors. This way, 10 projectors are connected to one PC.

What are the benefits of using MSE series products for multi-projector image alignment?

Of course, creating an immersive space is not just about connecting cables; we also need to perform a whole series of multi-projection display settings. For multi-channel installations, image blending is crucial to blend different images from multiple projectors, as well as to warp and distort them to create the illusion of a seamless image. Suppose we use multiple computers to perform edge blending. In that case, this significantly increases the workload, whereas if we use a single computer to connect all projections, we only need to use edge blending software on one computer to perform all projection edge blending settings. At the same time, we can reduce the number of video cards used, which will significantly reduce the cost of the project. This project usually requires three video cards to be connected. However, with MSE series products, only one card is needed.
